- I am a published writer of SF/F/H with credits in novel, short story, comics and gaming. I currently spend my nonwriting time tutoring in English/ESL, copyediting and editing. I am currently working mostly in YA, with 3 books under construction, one fantasy, one horror, and one SF. My latest sales were short stories to HOUSTON: WE'VE GOT BUBBAS!, BIG OLE FACE FULL OF MONSTER and a forthcoming BenBella anthology which will contain the best of the Bubbas of the Apocalypse.

- Eclectic. I listen to the Eagles, the Gorillaz, Simon and Garfinkle, NIck Lowe, Indian Bollywood, Maroon Five, Matchbox Twenty, Santana, Sara McLaghlin, Meatloaf, folk music, Stephen Sondheim Musicals, Tom Petty, Tori Amos, Shakira, everything. Not as big on Country or Rap music, but it depends on the song.
- Favorite TV Shows:
- Torchwood, Heroes, Pushing Daisies, Lost, Chuck, as well as older shows like Firefly, Buffy TVS, Man from UNCLE, Wonderfalls, Secret Agent, the Avengers, etc. I like quirky shows.
- Favorite Books/Authors
- Too many to list, but among them are: Charles de Lint, Robert Heinlein, Madeline L'engle, Robin McKinley, Rachel Caine, Selina Rosen, Julie Kenner, Neil Gaiman, CS Lewis, Tim Powers, CJ Cherryh, Tolkein, Katherine Kimbriel, etc., etc. etc. Also loved Delia Sherman's CHANGLING.
For nonfiction, right now I'm reading FREAKONOMICS, THE TIPPING POINT, and ANINCOMPLETE EDUCATION. I also collect Dictionaries.
- Favorite Movies
- I love musicals- especially Sonheim Musicals. Old movies like LAURA, GHOST AND MRS MUIR, F&SF like GALAXY QUEST, FREQUENCY, SERENITY, GATTACA, the Chinese movies like HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS, LOTR Trilogy, NARNIA, DARK CITY, DOGMA, HARRY POTTER. Again, very eclectic.
